Grant from Duke Brings New Oaks to Pride Park: Thanks to a grant from Duke, the city is planting six new oaks along the concert field at Pride Park. As they grow, they will provide shade for those who come to enjoy summer events on the new concert stage that will be constructed later this spring.  The stage construction is funded by a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant.

The City of Taylor Mill, Kentucky is accepting applications for the position of a full-time police officer, lateral applicants preferred. Applicants must be 21 years of age, a U.S. citizen, possess a high school diploma or GED. Lateral applicants must possess KLEC/POPS certification.  Applicant must possess a valid Kentucky driver’s license and be a Kentucky resident. The starting salary range is $45,036 – $50,036, plus incentive and benefits.Applicants must be willing and able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment testing, background investigation and attend police basic training if necessary.
