Grant from Duke Brings New Oaks to Pride Park: Thanks to a grant from Duke, the city is planting six new oaks along the concert field at Pride Park. As they grow, they will provide shade for those who come to enjoy summer events on the new concert stage that will be constructed later this spring.  The stage construction is funded by a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant.

KCSD Recognized the City of Taylor Mill

Mayor Bell and Chief Knauf represented the City of Taylor Mill at the August 6th Kenton County School District Board Meeting. The Kenton County School District recognized Taylor Mill for collaborating to protect all students and providing financial support to place a school resource officer at Woodland Middle School. Currently, the school resource officer at Scott High School also provides SRO services to Woodland Middle School. The Taylor Mill Police Department is conducting a hiring process to fill the Woodland SRO position post haste. Mayor Bell stated, “The City of Taylor Mill is proud to be the home of the Scott High School & Woodland Middle School campus. Supporting school safety is one of the most important functions of city government.”
