The center opened on July 9, 2008, and is still running strong.  Each Wednesday Taylor Mill residents age 50 years and older gather at the center to participate in activities such as exercise, educational speakers, luncheons, euchre, bingo, WII gaming system, mahjong and a variety of different card games.  We also have several day trips scheduled throughout the year that may be of interest to you.  Annual membership dues are $20.00 however some activities/lunches/trips may incur additional charges.  We regret that we can currently only extend membership opportunities to residents of Taylor Mill, and therefore, must require proof of residency in order to participate in our program.  In order to join, we also have some necessary membership forms to be completed, signed and returned with your annual dues. 

 We encourage any resident who is interested in joining the group, you are welcome to visit the center on Wednesday during the facility's “open” hours to tour the center. 

ANNUAL DINNER/DANCE

The Taylored with Time Senior Citizen Group will once again sponsor Taylor Mill's Annual Dinner/Dance.  This event will be held on Saturday, August 21st from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. at the Independence Senior Center.  Ticket price is $20.00 for anyone over the age of 21.  Price includes Hot Roast Beef and Gravy, Champagne Chicken Breast, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Tossed Salad, Caesar Salad, Rolls as well as an Appetizer Tray, Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks, Coffee and Dessert.  DJ entertainment provided by Pangallo Sound.  Space is limited so get your tickets early.  For more information, contact Denise West at 581-3234.
